I'm going to be traveling to Iceland for a short trip from January 29th to February 1st. Obviously, with such a short time, I'm limited as far as what I'll be able to see. I'm going to be staying in Reykjavik, so I'm looking for some day tours. So far, I'm thinking of a tour of the South shore which would be one full day, and definitely one of the Golden Circle tours. And I plan on booking a Northern Lights tour for the first night.
My question is, does anyone know if you can get away with doing one of the Golden Circle express tours, or if it's really better to do the full day tour? I'm debating on doing a combo tour, but I want to make sure I don't skimp on the Golden Circle too much.
My main focus of the trip is nature, and photography, so any suggestions for "must see" tours or sites are appreciated.
